Motherfuckers, they won't even let me install it on new PC..
>>736859583>buy stupid shit>get fuckedLike clockwork
>>736859583planned obsolescence is good for the economy, please understand
What kind of mouse are you faggots buying that it needs an external configuring tool?
>>736859583>being a good goy to vendor lock-in and then complaining about it when you reap what you sowI don't have a reaction image for this one sorry champ
What do they mean no longer support? I don't have a razer, but the phrasing suggests you can currently do all things you will soon be unable to do. Why would they disable a configuration menu that currently works?
>>736859583just use synapse 4?
>>736859583I love proprietary bloatware so much. You will own nothing and be happy.
>>736859687literally thisYou deserve it for buying retarded things
Is there an open source program for the zoomer lights?
i actually like my mouse so this vexes me
>using razer garboshit in 2026
>>736859583https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m1oyLIkJThc
>>736859583lol fuck this kind of shit
>>736859583What exactly is stopping you from using the next version of that program?
>>736859845>What do they mean no longer support? I don't have a razer, but the phrasing suggests you can currently do all things you will soon be unable to doWelcome to advanced planned obsolescence! Before, manufacturers would deliberately make their products shitty so that they eventually break and you'd have to buy a new one. Now, since everything is digital, they can just PROGRAM their shit to break instead of relying on physical defects. That's right, they'll simply just tell your mouse to stop using the extra features you paid for and there's nothing you can do about it. It's all perfectly legal. You voted for this btw.
>>736859687when did /v/ get so childish?
>>736859583I'm still using Synapse 2 and it's working perfectly fine, I can have profiles etc. The only thing that disappeared is saving profiles in the cloud but I don't need that.
>Razer Synapse 3 is a unified cloud-based hardware configuration tool >Locking your device's CONFIGURATION SETTINGS in the fucking cloudThere is literally no need to do this. Why do customers put up with this garbage?
Just a friendly reminder of how your Razer high polling rate mouse has a cucked low polling rate mode that is the default unless it loads the driver on boot.>>736860673openrazer on Linux ofc
>>736859764I wonder which mice the retards who talk about having issues with Razer are buying, idiot-friend. Probably Logitech.
>>736859845>>736862118>>736859736I like how none of you monkeys can read. I'm actually not sure about one of you, because I didn't read the entire post, seeing how I can't really read either.
>>736864492Bot post
Does razer actually have good products? They are on the level of alienware in my mind but all my info is from almost two decades ago.
>>736864661i got a razer keyboard as a gift in 2010 and i'm still using it today, so at some point they made products that actually lasted. no idea about the current state of things though.
Is Razer another company suffering from jeetification?
if you want to be able to keep using old hardware you either become proficient in the ways of the electronics and pc or u get fucked in the ass by everyone around, choice is yours.i know this is going to be criticized but here it goes... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P1kfuCkWo24this is digested, normie friendly version of what you need to learn in order to be resistant to planned obsolescence manufactured by greedy corpos.if you still intend to follow this path after getting a general idea about the subject from the video, look for reverse engineering tutorials and hardware hacks on YT or internet, or even ask AI for a guidancejust like that dumb wannabe hacker skank in the videoalso /g is place to go for more info all around
>3 IS OBSOLETE PLEASE USE 4Oh the fucking humanity the west has fallen
>>736864438the majority of third party mice have an online configuration tool you can open in any browser so you don't need to install anything. Even logitech has some configure tool for some mice but you wont be able to set up macros.
>>736865423Shut up faglord this shit is cancer and needs to be called out every time.
>>736864661I have a razer mouse and I only bought it because it was $10 on clearance since they were making room for the latest slop. Normally it would have been like $80 which is fucking lmao I'm not paying that much for a mouse. I didn't install any of the garbage it comes with and it functions fine like a regular mouse, it just doesn't light up.
>>736865610OHH NO I HAVE TO DOWNLOAD A FREE UPDATE, SAVE ME NIGGER MAN
>>736862160Shut up shit eater. Anyone with 2 braincells knows razer is fucking dog shit. You'd be better off buying a Chinese knock off on temu
>>736865780Hey, I use Razer products and Razer accessories! They're highly customizable!
Take the chink mouse pillBasically all of them use a web page to configure their mice and you just set it once and forget about it
>>736859764until good FOSS tools come along that make first party tools obsolete. there will be no mouse like that
>>736859583just don't use it then? never had a problem and I don't have those gay mmo mice with 20 side buttons
>>736865892Yeah, and they're cheap too. The only real cost is your computer becoming part of a chinese bot farm when you're not using it.
>>736866281Already part of the Windows botnetAnd if you're a poorfag using hypervisor bypasses for Denuvo games, the Russian botnetWhat's another botnet on the pile?
>>736864661>Does razer actually have good products?Deathadder V3 has known scroll wheel encoder issues. They expect you to upgrade to Deathadder V4 Pro as the "solution." I bought a RAWM V4 Leviathan instead and am very happy with it.Also my Razer keyboard is set to scrolling rainbow effect by default until a profile is loaded into software. My $20 chinkshit keyboard from six years ago remembers its RGB profile without software bloat.
>>736862160>When did /v/Shut up, you shut the fuck up right now, we have done nothing but tell people not to buy Razer products because they are the most expensive trash to ever hit the market.every single thing they make breaks within 6 months to a year, Mice, Keyboards, even those shitty handhelds and laptops and everytime people ran here to complain about a bad purchase. So no, fuck you, Razer has a reputation for being an awful company and they never changed so its not a surprise, if you as a consumer continue to financially support a company that rapes its customers then its on YOU and you alone, go cry into your fucking void. You want shit. You bought shit. Now EAT the shit.
>>736866476But I've had my Razer mouse and headphones for maybe five years now, and the mouse has been pretty good with no mods necessary.
>>736865610True, things going from 3 to 4 is unacceptable.
>>736866549oh wow here comes the "BUT I HAD MINE FOR YEARS" guy to tell you how great the product is and how you should totally trust us guys, we make good gear!
>>736860673openrgb
>ruined their only good mouseDropped them for $50 chink shit with better sensors after 20 years. I never liked razer I just liked deathadder, every other product I had from them except the copperhead was complete garbage.
>>736866731they started as a mouse company and mice are still the only decent product they make after all these years, their kbs and headsets are turbo garbage
>>736859583>razerdeserved honestly
>>736865482Logi's options app recently updated that you're forced to log in if you want to do "smart actions" (macros) for your mouse.Never needed to before so that's some bullshit.
>>736859583i'm still using synapse 2 which 'discontinued' last year but everything still works
>>736866791Agreed, turbo garbage is accurate.I had 2 razer keyboards, and 1 headset, never again. I'm glad the mechanical selection is so much better now.
>>736859583Fucking nigger I thought synapse 4 is the mice and they are forcing you to buy the new mice to use the RGB nigger light, turns out it's just the fucking software, fuck you just install the new version retard
>>736867621bootlicker
>>736865423>OH YOUR THING WORKS FINE BUT DOESN'T MEET THE SPECS FOR 4? PLEASE THROW IT AWAY AND BUY A NEW ONEshalom, fellow white male
>>736866850I've been using a Logitech mouse for over a decade now (the MX510 and its immediate successors) and have never once felt compelled to install the Logitech "app" or missed out on anything by not doing so. You zoomer retards create your own problems.
>It's okay for the thing you bought and paid for to suddenly stop working because you can just "update" to a new version the manufacturer is forcing you to use, despite it working fine previously and the fact that it would continue to work fine forever if the manufacturer didn't force the updateZoomers unironically think this is completely fine because this is all they've known their entire lives. The new generation is cooked when it comes to technology.
>waaaah I have to update to new software society is collapsing something something jews and jeets
>>736859845Ask Wacom, they seem comfortable with deciding their most popular products shouldnt work anymore
>>736869607curse vishnu
>>736870114>wacomwhat do you mean? this could affect me
>>736859845Retard.
Do people really use the software that comes with their mouse? >ibn4 the mouse's DPI can only be adjusted with the companies softwareDon't buy trash mice
should’ve bought chink shit. t. high end chink gaymen mouse with no need for any software
>>736859583Let me guess. They switched their business to manufacturing RAMs and SSDs for AI data centers instead.
>>736864661My Razer keyboard never died, though I did replace it a few years ago. Mice were iffy, I usually replaced them when I got tired of them. Headphones were overall not good and died rather quickly. Haven't bought a Razer product in years though so they probably got worse.
>>736860030>just use synapse 4?won't work with old devices as usual
>>736864661their keyboards are actually greateverything else sucks ass doe
>>736859583with some light theft from OpenRazer and some autist with Claude or Gemini on an Enterprise-level plan they could probably solve this in a couple months. I'm sure if you set up a VM and use a packet sniffer you could spend time mapping out specific setting changes but I have no clue how many strings there are or how specific they would get. I am sure this is where AI could come in handy executing functions in your VM and tagging specific changes with each click when making adjustments in Synapse. Not for me though, I bought a $19 mouse from Best Busy over a couple decades ago with DPI controls and an autoclicker and it still works today.
>>736870218>help me hitler I have to update a program something something indians
>>736859736lol it must be so fun running on "lol bro the epstein files are real but who cares muh gdp went up"
