Is there any talk about Sony working on a Vita emulator for modern consoles or will these games by forever gone unless you somehow have a working PS Vita?

What do you mean by "somehow" have a working Vita? Most Vitas still work fine, especially the 1000 models that have high build quality, hall effect sticks and excellent batteries. They're 150 on eBay, just buy one and hack it to play Uncharted.
