It's weird, in the first game he was just average middle aged guy with a hot wife.In the second he was a more handsome guy with an ugly middle aged wife.I guess they wanted to make him younger and hotter so he better fits in with the whole Ellie angle but still doesn't explain why they made the wife older and uglier.
