Whats your excuse for not being able to compete in competitive multiplayer games?
>>736882209>so underaged he thinks playing vidya is an achievement
I'm already competing (and failing) in real life and now you also want to make video games some gay ass competition too?
>>736882324Why can't you just play them for fun?
>>736882383but I do, that's why I mostly stick to single player games
Not worth it now
Im 42 and never liked doing anything other then team DM. Fuck all the extra gay shit
It's weird that gaming is seen as uncool from ages 30-45 but then after that it becomes cool again and the kids love you.
>>736882209i don't find it worth my time to be competitve in children's toys
>>736883179Kids hate everything they parents do or like.
>>736882209I liked competing in multiplayer games when the majority of others players actually spoke. It was easier to ignore the rare obnoxious retard but now the obnoxious retard is the norm and it's rare for anyone else to talk.
>>736882209I did actually. I tried to in local fighting games and in RTS for a brief time. It was a good few years in both but you start to see the value in just playing for fun after a while.
>>736882209I enjoy comp tf2, but I enjoy casual tf2 more.
>>736882209Because it doesn't sound like fun.
I did compete, back when there was money to be made locally and not everything was a fucking international tournament or ranking. Can't play cod without a fucking team, can't play bf cause no one cares about bf anymorehalo is dead, league locals are dead, fgc locals are dead in my entire state, takes 3hr driving to get anywhere and they don't really do money matches anymore (Which is understandable but I don't see a reason to drive 3hr for "Fun").There's no games that really support local competition, EVERY game wants to be a fucking esport.
