I just want to play a comfy game like Tears of the Kingdom sandboxslop. Heard the controls are confusing and the plot is garbage though. Is it worth it? No ragebait please.
>>736886520>No ragebait pleaseNo promises
>>736886520Is it cracked yet?
If you're on PC it's worth checking outIf you're on console no.
>>736886520>Heard the controls are confusingIf you're a brainlet>the plot is garbageIt's nothing special, but also not the focus of the game - I've enjoyed the game despite it.
>>736886520My friend swore by it by chapter 4 precisely because the exploration/sandbox is actually fun.So far I'm only in chapter 2 and it really feels like an mmo turned single player, it's almost funny.
>>736886668Why did this game filter countless "serious gamers" tho, like this is seen as casualslop but it sems like it filtered people that love games like the Witcher, Baldurs Gate, Red Dead, etc.
>>736886520It's weird and has a lot of jank but there's a great game in there. If you could put up with something like dragons dogma or old monster hunter, you will have a blast. Just know what you are getting into.
>>736886734>"serious gamers">the Witcher, Baldurs Gate, Red Dead, etc.Lmao, none of those faggots played Witcher 1-2 or BG 1-2.
>>736886520Story is dogshit, controls are dogshit. If it's not fun, why bother? Refunded.
>>736886520This game is Tears of the Kingdom for Snoys.
>>736886734The combat outside of the occasional boss fight is Dynasty Warriors level of hack and slash. It gets better when you encounter tougher enemies with shields and a larger health pool, but it's up to you to make your own fun. Most gaymers are boring faggots so they only hold down heavy attack instead of doing cool combos.Boss fights go in the other direction. Essentially Souls bosses except you can't spam roll to avoid all damage. You can either preventatively avoid damage by using one of the several ways to stagger the boss before they begin a combo or you can just spam the food button. Most gaymers choose the latter.
>>736886520We've had nothing but "comfy threads" for 3 straight weeks. Is this thread bait??
>>736886734It doesn't control anything like other games for the most part. As a KB+M user I got used to it in a few hours and by now a hundred+ later all the moves are muscle memory. At launch the bosses were also stronger but so many people complained they ended up getting nerfed. New difficulty modes are coming out soon™ so that casuals can faceroll and people looking for a challenge will have fun too. The beginning of the game narrative is pretty awful and disjointed which is why people bounce off early.
>>736886734>Why did this game filter countless "serious gamers" tho,It didn't. Not THAT many people bought this game. All those games you mentioned sold way more so you get proportionally more people liking it(even though these are the kinds of people that barely play games, see steam/psn achievements).
>>736890043art direction looks bad
>>736891541Looks fine to me ;)
>>736886734Because outside of boss fights the enemies are arkham asylum type fights, but as soon as you reach a boss you got to be prepared (bring healing items + upgrade your weapons + ur stats) and also do a certain strategy. Bosses all have different gimmicks and you gotta find out what the trick is to beating each of them. Spamming heavy attack can work sometimes, but it makes the fight seem harder than it should be.
