Great story and memorable characters, incredible music, beautiful 6th gen soul environments, and somewhat basic but snappy and fun turn based combat. I don't care if it's "hallways" it's one still one of if not THE best FF.

a pretty relaxed rpg it has some difficulty spikes around half way through when the party splits up. It really hooked me in once Auron shows up, but it has a great opening and music that I still enjoy watching.

I like a lot of the side quests and waiting to do most of them at near the end of the game is quick and easy.Could never finish ff12 since i got too side tracked doing the bounty boards and shit by the time I got back to the main story I would just forget the entire plot.

When I think about how cool videogames or other pieces of art are in that can feel so distinct and differ so much just in how they're told and presented and it's this wonderful mystery that can't be solved I think of this game. It just feels like its own thing, despite the usual jrpg trappings.It also has themes that resonate with one a lot more the older you get. It's the type of mature that the witcher games espouse to be, but for real.

I hated having to swap party members around to have them all earn exp. 95% of the time there's no reason to use Yuna, Rikku or Kimhari but I didn't know if there was going to be a section of the game where they're forced into your party. Ultimately it doesn't matter since the game can be beaten at extremely low or no sphere levels. For the post game only three party members matter thought it sucks doing blitzball because Wakka is one of the mandatory post game characters.
