Will Bethesda be worse or better off once Todd leaves?
>>736888398>he's always touches everything during the development processWhat did he mean by this
Bethesda getting worse is just normal Bethesda.
Better
It sounds like we can count on him "struggling to let go" then and not retire
bethesda games have a formula to it, they feel the same, have some bugs and some contradicting but engaging initial writing. they don't need to improve to make their games enjoyable, but lately they can't even achieve satisfying gameplay. i already don't expect a good story, but if theey focus on having good gunplay and cleaner UI/UX, things would improve

how would we know?
>>736888398It will be in approximately the same state it is in now. I suppose you can say worse since he won’t be there to lie and bullshit for them anymore but overall that is not much given people are already seeing through all that shit.
All the big name Japanese directors like Kojima, Miyazaki and Horii do the same thing.
>>736888398who did he touch this time
>>736888398starfield being released in the state that it was speaks volumes. bethesda RPGs are dead.
>>736888398Imagine developing a game and Todd constantly comes touching you and other staff but never stops. He does this to you your whole career at Bethesda.
>>736891514>starfield being released in the state that it was speaks volumesIt speaks more about Zenimax, they were trying to release the game on the meme 11 - 11 date until Microsoft slapped Zenimax's shit
>>736888398Beth is already wholly owned by MS. Todd doesn't do anything anymore, that was the entire point of the buyout. Do you think it was Todd's idea to desecrate one of Bethesda's most beloved games with a curry-powered outsourced remake? Todd's already gone and has been for years. This is like people malding over Bezos at Amazon when he hasn't had anything other than an emeritus positision there for years. Or Gates for Microsoft who doesn't have any sway at the company.
