It's a spacesuit which means it need to work in a vacuum. This means it needs to provide pressure to simulate 1 atmosphere. In other spacesuits this means pressurising the suit with air which makes it difficult to move because it's like wearing a big balloon animal. The other way would be using mechanical pressure i.e a tight form fitting suit like that which if fitted and sized correctly would be a lot easier to move in.
