Getting away with what? He pays actors to hang out with him.Which is insane because the guy barely speaks English. What exactly he even has to say to these people in the world's most broken Engrish is nothing short of a mystery.I don't think any of these celebrities really care much about how artistic he is if he can't convey those ideas in a proper conversation. I'm pretty sure the only reason they, or anyone from the west, even hang around long enough for him to take a picture of them together is because he pays the bills.If you've ever talked to a Japanese person with English skills as poor as Kojima's you'll realize how infuriating it is and you'll want the conversation to be over with as quickly as humanly possible.
