They four heads of angelic Kerub corresponds to them, also the four gospels of the New Testament correspond to them if you want to their correspondences in Abrahamic religions, they mark the height of each of their seasons, in magical systems it’s these signs that are called upon to control the elements, they form an elemental cross. This is all following after 2 which had a strong zodiac theme, and also referenced the fixed signs in the towers

I hope they add some depth into the lifesim aspect of the game, when you realize you're just choosing from a bank of scenes that make your friendship go up it becomes really boring. Friendship levels should be able to go down if you don't get along, or if you spend time with person X then that should lower the friendship level of person Y. Or at the very least spending time with someone should have an impact on other scenes, right now every scene is its own isolated thing that plays out exactly the same no matter what.
