Inti Creates are slopmakers but this one was actually great. It was all about gameplay, having a gorillion of characters and songs and delivers on that. Even the vague descriptions we get for each character like if their games existed were really entertaining to read.

>>736908584It's not a gacha, thank God.It is technically a roguelike deckbuilder because a lot of dungeons get rid of any cards reset your deck, but it's not Slay the Spire with anime titties. There's progression that doesn't get resetso you're getting noticeably stronger as you go, gimmick levels that just start you with a deck of cards you've picked up before, and the battle system is unique. There's a grid in combat so it's possible to just move out of the way of an attack, and the ability to weaken or even stun enemies so they can't do shit. I also roll my eyes at roguelike deckbuilders. This manages to be a lot more fun than any other one.

>>736927953Obviously you want make sure you have as many of the lower difficulties of every stage clear first so you have lots of upgrades. Once you have a bunch of upgrades it's pretty easy and you should be able to get a 3 star clear pretty much every time. Especially if you go an unlock all of the parallel cards since they're almost all way better than the default versions.As for strategy the general plan is to take a single regular room of 2 basic enemies for cards and then never fight regular enemies again. You obviously want the muse on each floor and while you should try not to fighting an extra guardian or 2 should be fine as long as you win in 1 turn. Notably a level 3 guardian gives the same number of points as 1 turn spent. Traps are very bad so you definitely want to take extra fights to avoid them, and sometimes you even click recover while on full hp just to be able to walk an extra room without triggering a trap.Doing all of the puzzle battles should be a good practice on getting the most out of your cards and thinking about mid fight strategy. I find that the puzzles are generally harder than the regular game since in the actual game you usually have more than enough output to win on the first turn while the puzzles only give you exactly enough to work with.

>>736930693Original One is the only one I'd say is truly bad. It goes from an X cost card to a 3 cost with a flat damage value. X costs are generally much better since they get the bonus from boost X times, can scale up with decks that can make a whole bunch of cost like debug, and 3 cost is already one of the best archetypes and doesn't really need more cards anyways.As well as that one I also disable Floriography: Selfless Coquetry and Spirit of the Forest. Both of these go from generating 2 cards to generating 0 cards with update 6: +1 card. However you generally want to use these cards to tick up your update counter on your other cards, not have them as update payoff themselves.There are a few others that are debatable, but most of them are either low impact enough that I don't care or the new version is just more interesting so I like it more. It is worth noting that some cards like the summons that only trigger on the object breaking are a bit worse below hard+9 when the enemy takes 2-3 hits to break it instead of 1 hit.
