Its true potential for DD2 is as the subject for seemingly endless amateur game dev modders to attempt to 'fix' it by changing one aspect they didn't like but ultimately result in an inferior experience every time.

There was a lot of neat shit that was cut for various reasons (mainly budget and time constraints) that could have been fleshed out in spin offs and shit. For example there was going to be a dungeon on the fucking moon
