Decided to sit down and finish Cold Fear for once after having it backlogged for years, I had dropped the game during my childhood cause it was too scary and hard for me at the time.After six hours I have to say the game's nothing special compared to the survival horrors at the time, nothing new that makes it shine over the rest. Not even the roster is special, you got the bad guys from the army, zombies that the game decided to name "Exocels" because calling them zombies would have been too generic, the dogs from RE, facehuggers, zombies that can turn invisible and a tough zombie with a giant arm and small body. The final and only boss the game has is dogshit, you need to Distract the romantic interest's father (which is a giant mutated scientist who tried the virus on himself to achive "evolution") while she loads C4s on some generators. Then in the second phase you need to trigger a QTE three times to kill the boss.Also, I find it funny that your playable character is a virgin who simps for a woman he only knows for roughly a day. I can't blame him though, russian chicks are hot as fuck.
