typically I play lower intensity games, but on the occasion I DO want something more active/engaging I just learn. Sticking to lower intensity games has given me a MUCH longer fuse compared to when I was a teenager, I just don't mind fucking up and losing at stuff like I used to where I'd rage like the tard I am. I didn't play DeS when Dark Souls 1 came out and I hadn't played a game like DaS prior and it was difficult at first when I didn't know much but when I started learning parry timings and paying attention to animations, it got a lot easier. This took less than 10 hours and I'm being generous with this number. My first playthrough was somewhere between 50-60 hours I think because I like backtracking and exploring to see if I missed things and experimenting with different things.

Dark Souls' difficulty is the most flanderized shit ever to the point that it's fucking wild that it's the start of git gud. The fact the difficulty crowd hopped on it was the start of it turning into a shit game with bonfires right before bosses and shit.Actual "git gud" games are multiplayer competitive games, which you conveniently left them to the side because hopefully you realize they are also the most manipulative of skinnerboxes.
