I still recommend keeping it 4:3 aspect ratio because the hud stretches and the screen is vert- which means top and bottom parts get cropped off
Any cursor issues can be fixed by alt tabbing out of the game and back upon booting the game, and it should be fine for the session

It's harder to do at 60fps. The other problem is that when running at 60fps, you can respawn in an ore chunk, and be forced alt tab or restart the game.

Sliding isn't very noticeable at 60fps either, it's just a quirky game when not running at the intended fps target.

What I want to booze cruise is the Incom T-65 X-wing. It would be the perfect vessel for drunk operation. Atmosphere holding, so you can sip at your leisure instead of having to hook drinks up to your life support and rock out to whatever tunes you bring. Hyperdrive capable, allowing you to juke cops trying to put an end to your fun and allow you to find new liquor shops to visit. S-foils allow you to switch between burning void and doing maneuvers and blasting asteroids and space junk with beer goggles set to ON. Shielding protects you from getting dinged or any fender benders. Landing gear lets you stop and take a piss wherever you want. The Astromech Droid can function as your Drunk Jack™ helping you fly to the next bar, punch in hyperdrive coordinates before some asshole tractor beams you, and send funny jokes on the little computer screen to keep you in good spirits. I don't think there's many other craft that'd be better to use shithammered.
