The marketing was supposed to focus on to simplicity (think PS4 against XBONE's TV, no physical media and no game lending days and the "Hey guys its PS2 2 electric bogaloo" for the fourth time). But they've been experimenting with new stuff trying to be "innovative" without being retarded like MS. Except, well, not quite innovative. The one thing they've been trying to push is the Switch's handheld+home station angle. Remember the new handheld ("Vita 2") rumor which then turned into a handheld only PS6 rumor? The later got turned into a PS Switch, with docking and all.
>We knew that already because last year an anon whose dad works for Nintendo leaked it
Difference being dock streaming. Stream from the home station to the handheld, so that you can always play on docked mode. Because of that they even considered scrapping the device and letting the console stream to smartphones (and make it so the controller can easily be attached to smartphones). Yeah, you can imagine the ads about the movie games which "looks like real life" being played anywhere. Supposedly, they are trying to make it more of a Deck than a Switch but I haven't heard of any other functionality to make it closer to the former. The home station is set on stone, no handheld-only entry this gen. Console will be black again.
