Things like the gritty menus being replaced with cleaner icons isn't really game-changing; I'm actually old enough that I remember when the OG came out and it didn't look good enough for me to play it. I remember when everyone groaned because Capcom were reinventing the wheel for no reason; we wanted survival horror, not Leon the action star.
