Then, the couple videos he made got popular and he and/or Mike realized they could capitalize on that and started making scripts. When you follow a script (and start editing your videos) you can really start to hide your quirks and can pass off any outbursts as being in character.
Mike has always been an asshole. This became more apparent than ever when he started streaming. And for regular lets play videos he will always edit out the parts where he fails or learns, either because he wants to be perceived as a better gamer than he is, or because he rages too hard.
