Ok so, let's think about the theory of Ralsei going away in Chapter 4, and why that might happen. So, we know the Mage leaves the part in Dragon Blazers, Dragon Blazers is based on Lord of the Hammer, which is itself based on the Prophecy, Ralsei is pretty much the mage of the group therefore it is not an insane leap of logic to identify the Mage in Dragon Blazers as Ralsei. We come to the second question, why would Ralsei leave, well, a theory I have heard is that he will leave because he will feel useless/supplanted, and I think this will be a key factor. As the party currently stands, Ralsei does have some unique abilities, Susie can heal now, yes, but Ralsei can Pacify too, and, in any case, 3 is better than 2 in a fight, so Ralsei does have an important role, so we must think of a character that can take Ralsei's place in the party and can more or less do everything he can, which leaves us with only one character, Noelle. Noelle can heal and pacify, she also has titles that refer to her as "caster", so Noelle is pretty much a mage. Given that we have datamined things such as dialogue for Noelle equipping items, and Chapters 3-5 were in concurrent development, it is not implausible to think that Noelle will appear as a party member in Chapter 5. So, Ralsei is the Mage, the Mage goes away, the reason for Ralsei going away is feeling that he's not needed anymore, Noelle can do the same things that Ralsei can, Noelle might also appear in Chapter 5 given the datamined dialogue, and Ralsei does mention to Susie that she should forget about him and make real friends, she rejects that, but still, he did say that to her.So we have all this, what could happen in Chapter 5? Well what I think is, the four end in the dark world, for whatever reason, Ralsei sees Noelle being all friendly with Susie, he sees Noelle can do everything he can, and since Noelle is real, unlike him, then he probably thinks Noelle can take his place and be Susie's friend, and so, he leaves.
