Why not just call it Disco Elysium 2?

Because it feels more like Disco Elysium 0.8 or something. It feels like someone described the original game to the devs and told them to make as close of a copy as possible, but swapping a few aspects here and there to make it "new". Incredibly derivative and not even in a fun way.

Also, as a brazilian, the english speaking voice actors completely butcher the portuguese pronunciation of words and don't even attempt an accent or anything. Kim had a consistent pseudo-frenchie accent and the french word in Disco Elysium, while not 100% pronounced accurately, felt like words people actually used in-universe. Every time a portuguese word is pronounced, it's like the VAs have never even heard a portuguese word before.

More like libtard elysium 2

I don't care about the disco elysium connection. Just treat it as a new studio making a paranoid spy game rpg with a similar slick artstyle like disco. I always wanted a game like that, so I 'm staying cautiously optimistic, no point in expecting a disco sequel or being buttblasted when it's not.

Disco without commie devs ? based
