Should I try it? Im not much of a fighting game guy but I want to play a dragon ball game and this looks like the best one. I could be completely wrong about that though because I never hear anything about this game. It looks really fun from what ive seen. Is it on par with a dragon ball budokai tenchaichi 2? If not then why? Thats what im looking for. Like i said im not really a fighting game guy and ill probably never play online... do you think id like this game?
>>736973836FighterZ is a 3v3 tag fighter like umvc3 or mvc2.It's really well done, good animations, lots of characters from DBZ (Even if most of them are Gokus). I think there was a recent patch that really amped up the craziness/combos.If you like DBZ, you'll love it. Especially if you can play local and see the enders and intros that don't exist online.You missed the hypest the game will get, though. Anytime Cell came on the screen, everyone let the his intro play and did his powerup yell at the same time.. That shit was so fucking hype.
>>736973836it looks like the best one because it's graphically the best looking one (and has cool fan service). gameplay wise it's garbage degenerate tag fighters with homogenized move sets and nonexistent solo content. It doesn't even have transformations as moves, it's separate characters (and not all of them exist). It's purely designed for competitive pvp/esport

If all you want is to play through the DBZ story play Kakarot, if you want endless self-insert DBZ fanfiction play Xenoverse 2, if you want to sweatily recreate DBZ fighting emulate Budokai Tenkaichi 3, because Sharting Zero is an obnoxiously unfun and expensive UE5 downgrade

>>736976712the fighterz artstyle was created by arcsys handcrafting each frame of animation and using 2d animation stretching and squeezing techniques to make them look as good as possible from the specific angle they're presented at. For one I don't think any of bamcos usual third world anime game factories have any people who could do that and for two it would be an enormous effort and not entirely possible for a true 3d game
