But for someone like Alexia, she became a monster mutant that emphasized her sociopathic murderboner. Morpheus was some genderfluid wannabe who was so focused on beauty that he basically got morphed by the virus into a female outcome because of his mindset about perfection.

>>736977069I've had an idea like this for years. Basically you play as a genetically engineered monster with human level intelligence. However you are still very much a monster physically. Well over 7ft tall, massive jaws full of jagged teeth (which you can unhinge like a snake), and of course big sharp claws. The game would have tank controls and play largely like a classic RE game, except you have a much smaller inventory (represented as you swallowing items or carrying them in your hands since you have no pockets), have a much higher health pool, and have no weapons apart from the ones you were born with. You have serious trouble interacting devices meant for human hands due to your massive unwieldy claws, so guns are largely out of the equation (You can pick some up, but can't load them, and most of the guns you'd find on corpses are going to be empty). The gameplay loop is the usual gather items, solve puzzles, deal with enemies, manage resources. Except now, in addition to other monsters and zombies, you have to deal with survivors who shoot monsters on sight (or otherwise try to impede them). You can choose to kill or simply avoid most of these humans, and it would probably effect the progression of the story.Where the gameplay would really be shaken up is in the final act when the corporate mercenary goon squad shows up to liquidate the whole facility. These guys have machine guns, armor, and operate in groups. They're incredibly deadly to big knife fingered naked monsters like yourself, so you have to sneak around and catch them off guard with sneak attacks, slasher style. You could probably have a move where you can pick one up and use him and his armor as a meat shield against his buddy's gun fire. I even made designs for the monster guy as he became sort of a pet OC of mine.

I actually thought of something like that recently, a prototype/hulk ultimate destruction like game where you customize/research tyrants and air drop into cities/hot zones to do objectives and all that jazz. Bonus points if there's coop a series of maps where a diamond mine lord sends hordes of child soldiers after your guys. Not sure about the story but could go with corporate/pmc angle where other umbrella branches will try to kill your branch and take all your shit so that you get to fight other monsters too. Wouldn't mind MC being one of the hundreds of Wesker children project test subjects for hammy sunglasses CEO experience.
