/vr/ says it's better than 2.
2cucks are in shambles.
>>
>picture of box art accompanied by retarded bait and nothing of value stated
Yeah sure sounds like you're from /vr/

Knife-wielding Galsias are MUI Goku tier

I don't care what Reddit or /vr/ or whatever says. The American version was heavily changed, and those changes make it not very fun to play. The original is the best of the 3.

Based, I love SoR1. Perfect gem of a game.
>>
>>736979542
It does two things better than SoR2, and only two:
>you can run
>you can use supers without hurting yourself if you let the timer fill up

SoR2 is better in every other respect.

i will also add
the roll dodging being able to stack up on the forward command supers when you last long enough without dying although i do like to keep one star to make the ground upper extend longer and also being able to move while doing light jabs

Bruce...
But seriously, what the fuck were they thinking when they gave a common aussie name to a kangaroo handler?

idk why but the way they depict him the box art as a regular guy with a blue shirt is funny to me

I liked it more than 2 BEFORE /vr/ said it was better so there. I'm the coolest. Also cloudflare sucks ass today. I'm outta here after this post. Making me wait a minute for captcha and thirty seconds for a post.

The jap version of 3 is the best game in the series.

4 is the worst.
>>736982603
-it's faster overall
-the enemy AI is harder but also not as cheap
-the music was incredibly ahead of its time
-better graphics
-every character has way more moves
-characters can roll
-all of these equate to better moment to moment gameplay and a more fun, engaging and satisfying game
-cinematics cutscenes (these were actually a good thing in the 1990s)

The only reason you like 2 the most is coz you played it when you were a kid.

i just wish the game was a bit longer, for some reason i felt like it was shorter than 2, in terms of level length but i guess that is just me
i do know they were going to add much more like the bridge and highway stage but i guess it would have interrupted the flow

2's music mogs 3's, since Yuzo Koshiro was getting way more experimental and freaky with shit in the 3rd game.

2's gameplay was a little slower, but fairer. The absence of a run or dodge roll definitely made it slower than 3.

3's locations and plot were also crazy and nonsensical (underground Japanese shrines, evil robot factories, etc), which made the game feel disjointed. I appreciated the branching paths, at least. And this says nothing about the silly 'it was a perfect robot replica!' plot, either.

Graphics were a little better in 3, but not some major departure like from 1 to 2.

3 is mechanically better than 2, but 2 is the one I'd play if you gave me a choice.

Bro, the fucking hitboxes on these guys is absurd. Shit takes up half the screen.

3's music was done by motohiro kawashima
I dont know why they still prominently feature yuzo's name when he at most did like the credits and stage end themes.

>Ayano Koshiro: Usually, I could just do what I wanted. Most of the time, I did what I thought was good for myself. Or what seemed the most reasonable to me. Where do characters stand, when should enemies appear, what do they look like, what can the boss do... a boss in the first level doesn't do much, of course. But then, when you get to the fourth level, it has to feel like a boss from the middle of the game. These are all things that no one ever taught me, no one told me that I had to do it exactly this way or that way. I did it the way I thought was smart. And that's how my games came about. I saw Streets of Rage 3 back in the day, and a lot of people think it's a little... hmmm... shallow? I’m not saying it’s bad, but it's not outstandingly good either, it lacks pace and rhythm. It feels the same from start to finish. I always wondered why they did it that way. I had my criticisms and things that puzzled me. But I didn't say that to the creators' faces at the time.

Galcia's are why you don't take golden knife rewards in SoR4 survival mode. If you happen to drop the knife and a Galcia picks it up, you are instantly fucking dead.
