games where you have to wait an arbitrary amount of time for no aparent reason at all?
>idle game>optimal gameplay is active gameI hate that.
I've always had idle games open in the background at all times for at least 10 years nowOnly web-based ones though, I don't want that shit to show up in my Steam hours

I always get a little worried that idle games are just miners but they scale their resource usage based on your progression so it is never quite obvious that they are miners.I wonder if getting like 1 cent a day for per 100 users that reach 100 hours would be financially worth it.
>>736983921I hate """"Idle"""" Slayer exactly for this thing
>>736983921>Casual idle game>Need either a degree in mathematics or a guide to make progressShoutout to Realm Grinder
>>736987846I got filtered by Antimatter Dimensions when you unlock the Automator and you have to start using scripts to idle the game. There were probably guides for it but that would be admitting I was too much of a brainlet and wasn't worthy of continuing the game anyway.
>>736988505I got tired of AD a bit later when you need to optimize the multi-branch talent tree through painful trial and error or follow a guide.
>>736984774It's steam, but I liked Cell to Singularity. Apparently they've had a bunch of major updates since I last played 3 years ago, might give it another go.

>>736988505>>736988672The automator isn't too bad since I'm touched on coding stuff before and the stuff you do with it is all very simple. Mostly just telling it to enter every challenge in a certain order. But I dropped it a bit later around the second celestial challenge or whatever they were called because I fucking hate randomized diablo type loot grinds. The mechanic gets introduced a bit before that but I hate it so much.
>>736984825nice siteplaza.dsolver is dead so I didn't have anywhere to look for these games other than itch. And itch kind of sucks for it and tags a bunch of other games as incremental just because they have progression.
