>>737028786OP here, one of the biggest reasons why people struggle with the party members is because they never check the customise menu and try to equip every ability. This is most impactful in KH1, where you can dramatically change the party members' playstyles if you just configure them correctly. Donald can be far better at healing if you set him to heal as frequently as possible, and use offensive abilities as infrequently as possible, or outright disable them. Same with items.Goofy is the most impactful though, as he's actually extremely useful as an MP battery later in the game once he gets MP Gift, which converts 2 of his MP into 3 of yours. Also, if you want him to attack, Goofy Tornado is so much better than his other attacks that you should probably just disable his other ones entirely. Disabling problematic abilities does wonders for making your party members actually use the good shit.
