GameFreak was always a lazy and incompetent dev from day one, but they could at least hide behind the fact that gamedev back then had a tall barrier for entry, and the less technical demanding games masked it well. All the cracks in both the Pokemon formula and GameFreak's foundations for the series started to show with the transition to 3D. X/Y was trash, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt for being the first mainline 3D game. Sun/Moon, flawed as they are, at least showed promise that they were starting to get the hang of it. Then Sword/Shield happened and I started losing faith. Scarlet/Violet literally put me to sleep.I'll always love Pokemon, but I cannot in good faith say the 3D games are any good or worth playing. I hate how it's being handled, I hate the sheer incompetency behind its developments, and I hate the mindless brand slaves who continuously defend GameFreak's incompetence.

Smash Bros- Sakurai getting pissed about people watching Brawl cutscenes on Youtube and vowing to never make a good single player campaign again killed it. I have zero faith in a new installment with good single player content since all the online fandom cares for is compshit and rosterfagging. Zelda- Botw/TotK were both trash and EoW is boring when you realize most of the echoes are pointless. Mario Party-none of the Switch ones are worth playing more than a few hours and the last good one was 8.
