Decided to give Diablo 3 another chance. What's the most fun class?
>>
>>736991368
Monk or DH
>>
>>736991368
uninstall wizard
>>
>>736991368
just play a good game like grim dawn instead
>>
Necromancer
Witch Doctor
>>
I liked flipping around and shooting things with DH. Necromancer was cool too.
>>
>>736991368
Demon Hunter hands down.

I'm playing it with my gf.
Local coop, we're emulating the switch version in 4k with D3Hack.
>>
Charge Barb
>>
I liked playing Monk.
The dash spam build was my favorite.

I didn't even know it had a necromancer class.

I always felt like witch doctor was the most D3 class
doesn't feel like a diablo character at all but it can do all sorts of goofy bullshit which fits in with d3's goofy tone
>>
>>736992396
I loved the bears attack.
>>
>>736992493
For me it was the frogs and the pirahnas. Such a unique and fun class that will probably never make it into any game ever again for a variety of reasons
>>
>>736992320
It did way after the release of RoS for half the price of the game or something like that.
It was made fun of so hard and was so incredibly despised that Grim Dawn released a necromancer class for free a few months later
PoE1 also did something that i don't remember, it was a while ago.
>>
>>736991368
bonespear necromancer
>>

Decided to go Demon Hunter. What the fuck is up with the sound in this game? Can't hear music, voices are low in dialogue, yet the lore journal entries and cutscenes are loud as fuck
>>
>>736991368
For story or adventure? If you're playing story, do yourself a favor and don't. If you're playing adventure, my ranking from top to bottom is
>witch doctor
>necro
>barb
>crusader
>monk
>wizard/demon hunter (just don't play either)
I like pet builds, but you don't even have to do that with WD/necro, necro's strongest builds (ie, the strongest in the game for NR) effectively don't use them anyway. They both have some really fun ancient sets.

This anon knows.

my ex did me as witch doctor and she played demon hunter or whatever it was. was fun for both of us
>>
>>736991368

???

Also am I immortal or something? Nothing damages me, even the bosses
>>
>>736994026
Increase the difficulty?
>>
>>736994026
Dunno what difficulty you're on, but the first two difficulties you pretty much don't take damage from anything ever.

>>736991368
I played it ages ago on console while visiting my parents and the game was complete ass.
Now I'm playing it on Switch on my RP6 and it's still ass.

I've thought about it a few times in the past, and I think I've nailed it down to how the skills are learned.
In Diablo 2, you have your skill trees, get the move(s) you like, and dump points into abilities, stats, and passives, and you continue to put points into skills and adjust them over time, like hard-focusing on skeletons for your necro if you like skeletons, or adding more multishot to a spell, or whatever. It keeps you engaged, gives you something to look forward to.
Diablo 3, ALLLLLL those passives and all those skills to pick from plus one modifier, and as soon as you get the combo you want, that's it, it's endgame now, you'll never advance that skill ever again, and leveling further to unlock more skills means nothing, you have the skill+modifier combo done, completed. Doesn't matter that you've got another 40 levels worth of skills and passives to unlock, they're not "better", they're NEW, and there's a good chance you like your existing setup and wont care about the new stuff.
