Severe seasickness doesn't make you lose consciousness. Maybe change it to something like "as you're working on some equipment the ship is hit by a rouge wave or shakes violently causing you to hit your head" Game sounds cool though.

>>736995365Early on the nurse says it could be seasickness but you have a half dead eldritch creature driving people mad so that was probably not true
>>736995064if i stole your idea for my indie game, would you be mad?
>>736995597Make the nurse have something that clues you in to her not being sane.
You might like Cryostasis, since it's also about a huge boat in the arctic. But it's more a horror/shooter than a *shock game
>>736995725Not at all also >Halfway through ship flips opening up new routs, while closing the old ones >Cultists and certain people call you simple minded which might've been the reason you are not one of them yet>At some point you see a rescue boat but later find it has been there for a long long time >you only ever see glimpses of Levithan>Ship had people from different regions so you won't be able to converse with certain npcs >Protagonist is Irish
>>736995064bookmarking this thread to steal your idea, get fucked

I've stayed on the Queen Mary multiple times IRLAMA
>>736995816Best of luck making something like this
>>736995725Pls keep us updated if you plan to release it.
>>736995064Imsim isn't a real genre>oh, it's a game made by and for trans "people" of middling IQ where you can type in 0451 and pick up a can and throw it an an NPC>passing out from seasicknessretard who knows nothing about shit clearly without enough brainpower to imagine how things work.>planned DLC for a concept that's not materializedsuckstart a shotgun.
Environmental interactions:>Good old vents, of course>Magnetic shoes and gloves that let you climb certain surfaces>Fungus that can be burned or conversed with>Learning a new language that lets you understand certain puzzles, notes, and mechanics
No crafting system and we're good
>>736996850You eventually craft some weapons but that's it no tonics or vests
This is just Cyrostatis (2008).
>>736995064What weapons and what era? I can see it working in an inter-war setting (hint at Eldritch powers wakening from or being involved in the Great War) or late-Cold War, with plenty of nuclear paranoia and Thing vibes.
>>736997108Alternative 20th century
>>736997283this game was already made but I forgot the nameit was that time traveling soviet union fps shooter. Came out about 10-12 years ago
>>736995064As I understand it you want there to be some kind of augmentations, right? What exactly are the options, and how do they play into the game? Is it a "collect a random aug from a secret room and shove it in your torso" or do you start with those upgrades already in there and your only concern is powering them?
>>736997482They are surgically placed in your spineThey were exclusively made for elite explorers and certain VIPs on the shipYou can find some brand new ones others are removed from the spines of the dead or those about to be killedThey grant you different abilities and enhancements, such as withstanding cold, super strength, and magnetism. In addition to being defensive, they also let you use certain weapons and equipment, like a gun that shoots a freezing agent or a microwave gun that can literally fry enemies
