I'm just walking around reading conveniently detailed notes. I expected the second coming of Christ of puzzle games, but this is just Amnesia. The entire solar system and all the physics shenanigans are pretty cool and impressive from a programming perspective, but it's all kind of wasted on a walking sim.
Considering games like La-Mulana exist, I'm starting to believe this game got hyped to the level it's hyped just because it was the first game of the genre normies played. Kind of the same thing that happened with Expedition 33, for example. Both are decent enough, but not nearly as good as people claim.

Yeah, pretty much. It's a shame I played La Mulana and Void Stranger before it because I likely would've enjoyed it far more without previous exposure to similar and better games than Outer Wilds
