Are there any of you like me who loved the first two games but then couldn't keep up with all the different bullshit prequels and spinoffs and by the time KH3 came out it felt like you were out of the loop, felt the story turned complete bullshit from the original simplistic light vs dark story, and couldn't finish the series?
"the first two games" being kh1 and chain of memories, I hopekh2 is NOT the second game in the series
Yes anon there are plenty of casuals who feel simultaneously like they were left out but also like they're experts on a franchise they haven't kept up with or touched since they were 10.
>>737010617I think if it was purely 1>CoM>2 going into a third game would be fine. There are so many inbetween games, prequels etc that it got way too ridiculous. I still haven't played 3, though I hear with the DLC it helps alot to fill in the content that it was missing compared to KH2FM

>>737010617I was keeping up aside from mobile shit but KH3 still felt a tad unsatisfying and i blame it entirely on DDD, it was pretty obvious that Days, BBS and Coded was the road to KH3 and the game would have to lay a lot of groundwork to connect them and conclude the story, like how KH2 did with the organization and still "concluded" that, but then nintendo asked for DDD and all of the groundwork for KH3 went to that instead so there was nothing left for KH3 to tell aside from the conclusion and introducing more mysteries because the mobile games were a thing now so until you reach the last 4 to 5 hours of the game there is nothing to fucking tell
