Going to go out on a limb here and state that Gearbox (at the time) did a better job with the Half-Life universe. Opposing force was very well paced. Tight experience that didn't overstay its welcome. Added a lot of cool features such as Nightvision and the far superior knife. Getting healed by medics, having your troops follow you. The level design was superior. Thew new Race X were great. Better guns. Shepherd was cooler than Gordon. Fite me faggot.
