Obviously it's being played up for fun as an AU situation but he beat Obi-Wan, prime Luke, and prime Vader while also at least keeping up with Sheev despite only having trained for a few years at best. Even if you ignore that and solely focus on just what he did in the main story, in the first game he is literally able to focus the Force enough that he can pivot a Star Destroyer downwards. Luke had trouble doing that to a few rocks and his X-Wing. Hell, even in TLJ he, at best, can lift his X-Wing and astral project and do nothing while doing so.

As a Rule of two sith, GM is inherently stronger than most force users in his era, especially given his training under Vader. His force foresight, likely essence transfer ability, and him being a prodigy, Galen Marek (and the starkiller clone) is well above aayla secura or like prequel anakin/movie luke.
