The religion of "The Light" isn't really comparable to any real-world religion. It's a fictious religion. "The Light" is basically just God, but people in WoW say, "Believe in The Light" instead of "Believe in God" or "Believe in Jesus" they're worshipping a neutral force that is comparable to "The Force" in Star Wars. If anything, the latest expansion just proves what most people already knew years ago, and that The Light has the ability to corrupt people and turn them into religious zealots who sometimes end up harming more than protecting. It can also make you a schizo who believes everyone around you is against you. Actually...I'd say it's pretty comparable to real world religion. Never mind, OP.
