Replaying this. I’m still happy this series came back from the dead (space) even if only for a second but it just sucks that we’re not going to get anything ever again. Why couldn’t it be like all those other survival horror series that not only get remakes but also new games and other content? I’m okay with it being a “finished” series because there aren’t many which don’t get milked to death but there’s always been something cool about Dead Space and part of me wishes we’d get more of it. Now that that’s out of the way, let’s discuss this “demake”.

I just want to hear about the downfall of the Ishimura while blasting necromorphs, not how you had to kill your gay lover that the nu-devs inserted into the story to fulfil a quota.
I like the audio design and atmosphere of this game a lot but I just wish they made dead space 4 or a spin off instead...

>>737057835I don't care what anybody says - it's the best remake of all time.Basically a fusion of 1 and 2 in terms of gameplay, in the best setting (Ishimura), with the best weapon reworks you could possibly imagine, with tons of new content, and with a new secret ending that makes the second game make WAY more sense (even if some fans want to cope and say it's not canon).I adore this remake. I don't give a fuck what some other beta male thinks.
