Played a bit and my first impression is that this game reminds me of Soma. There is too much reading and notes everywhere. You also need to pixel hunt a lot cause you don't know which one of the hundreds items in room can be interacted with.

I like how in The Sinking City you go around shooting Eldricht horrors with a gun. You even kill Shub-Niggurath at one point. And I just find it funny how the game throws these otherworldly horrors beyond human comprehension at you and your guy just goes “Welp, better get the Colt”
