Do you think Mike Stoklasa is aware of this game?
>>737063273>Do you think Mike Stoklasa is awareNo
i once saw mike stoklasa standing on the side of the highway pissing into the passing trafficalcoholism is not a joke
>>737063273Mike is an avid gamer, as seen with his love of FNAF
I've seen Mike Storklasa beat Don't Shit Your Pants game, I'm sure a gamer of his caliber knows all about Star Trek games and fan projects
>>737063273didn't he play one of the old star trek games and then say "oh no i'm gonna get addicted to this" and stop
>>737063273I've seen Mike Stoklasa beat a homeless elderly man half to death over an almost empty bottle of fireball
>>737063273Did mods add the originals sounds yet?
>>737063273He's probably seen it since he keeps track of coming Star Trek projects. This goes in the same category as a Star Trek balloon where it seems like a cashgrab on the work of writers and actors.
This game is really bad btw
>>737069759Really? That sucks.
>>737069759Is Janeway at least good?
>>737063273>another garbage below mid visual novel relying entirely on nostalgia for a show that was the worst trek in existence till 2009bros, i miss actual good star trek games. virtual voyager was the tits
>>737072434>worst trek>worse than voyager or the animated series
>>737072434Voyager unironically got better with age. Much like DS9 at the time of its release, it was inevitably compared to what came before, and decried as a worse version, too different or too similar, or whatever else. Fans of media of any sort have always been insufferable faggots about this sort of thing.Voyager was definitely a little desperate about not wanting to rehash ideas from its predecessors too much, but it had quite a few very good episodes that I'd comfortably rank among the all-time greatest of old Trek overall, and ended up being a fine show altogether.
>>737072274no
>>737072589>reading comprehension>worst on /v/TAS used plots left over from the show and all the original cast. Its fine. >>737072785VOY is a dice roll series, for ever PEAK episode like the rock bodying seven you got "the doctors operatic child molesting session" not even a discussion. Worst pre-09 trek by a huge margin. Thats reality.
>>737072785yesnext best after tng. Kate Mulgrews performance is very underrated if you rewatch as an adult. Some of it even more camp than tng, but at least its not empty wokeslop dumb shit like all the recent series (excepting picard series 3)
>>737072785I liked Voyager and don't think it deserves the hate.
Mike wouldn't care, he's one of those boomers who refuse to even touch a video game like they're some kind of demonic relic
>>737072785>Voyager was definitely a little desperate about not wanting to rehash ideas from its predecessors too much,The biggest criticism of Voyager was that they played it way too safe and abandoned its premise of being stranded far away from home with a crew of two rival factions in favor of just being a TNG rehash
>>737072785and also entire episodes recycled and rehashed from TNG or DS9. ironically it did nazis better when it was literally doing nazis instead of kardasian mengele.
>>737072937>Worst pre-09 trek by a huge marginNot really. The Animated Series is the low hanging fruit here, but since you're including movies by going with '09 specifically, way too many of the TNG movies were pretty fucking bad, and Enterprise is the least remembered series for a reason (and got canceled to boot).
>>737063273Hr's aware of it but hates all video games on principal. That's why he doesn't review video game movies even though they would be surefire hits. I think he and Jay reviewed Minecraft only because the movie was so easy to shit on.
>>737073269the worst parts of Voyager are that they just do not commit to anything. all the individual episodes are perfectly fine, some are even great, but they are all largely isolated, unconnected events apart from some minor overarching plot connection like the shit romance or the doctor's holoemitter, which is another problem: when they do commit to some long-term thing, it's dogshit. the holoemitter mostly erases what is unique about the hologram, the romance is terrible, and voyager just keeps dawdling on endlessly in not!home space as long as it needs to to complete all seven seasons.
>>737073119It's just mid and came out during the decade when Trek was arguably at its peak (TNG, DS9) so it looked worse than it was. VOY compared to garbage nu-trek looks amazing now.
>>737073507DS9 scared the hoes by being too serialized (for the time). I think VOY was trying to be a return to TOS planet of the week storytelling.
