How exactly do you want video games to impact your culture? The people who talk about cultural impact also mock people who celebrate games in their culture like that guy dancing to "my life is like a video game"
>>737069385Started a whole wave of Chinese soulslikes and introduced millions into the monkeverse
I enjoyed it, but the final chapter was really off besides the final fight.
Genuine question; does "cultural impact" just mean porn?

>>737069385i really liked it, played right when it came out. a bunch of retards here on /v/ called it a soulslike for some reason even though it was clearly a god of war/bayonetta style action game. I had read Journey to the West before which definitely was essential for appreciating the story, i made a reading/watching guide back when i played it if anyone is interested. The game didn't do anything perfectly but was solid across the board and had a great final boss, my only real complaint was that the end was clearly rushed.
