In many cases, i do not notice when i slip some Japanese words and pronunciations. For example, when I laugh at something myself, I might say "sou desu ne" or "sou ka". I might shout "moo!" when I'm frustrated. But the most common slip seems to be "ee?" when I'm really confused about something. I guess they are smart-sounding because they belong to the culture of certain intellectual and bohemian social groups, and because it goes beyond the understanding of normies.
