Now, gameplay segments are all broken up by spending time in your cabin, during which there are multiple cutscenes where you listen to your co-workers talk at you over the radio about communism and workers rights, and how much they want to fight back against the company. I played it before they added any story shit and it was fun. Haven't revisited it. Probably never will.

>>737104491You're not missing much. Part of why the game sucks is that they shifted the focus to being mostly story driven and as a result, the gameplay suffers big time. There's only 4 different ships (and one of those, the gecko, is basically just a bigger version of the mackeral) and then each of those 4 ships have a few variations so the game gets old fast. Also you're constantly stuck listening to the characters bitch and moan about how hard life is in unskippable dialogue between shifts.
