It's subtle, but the emphasis is on this being not just known, but well-established knowledge. Also, 世の中 (in this world) was dropped for some reason.>with as small a brain脳味噌なし literally means "brainless," so it's a little more direct/childish than what they English translation conveys.Obviously, this is nowhere near as bad as most of the localization, but even here, the translator is making the insults less punchy.
