The way class skills were handled in Visions is probably my biggest complaint with the game.The fact that you can only mix and match class passives only in the post-game and only those final two passives instead of all of them was a big miss.That and the post-game being so short and mostly recycled stuff. When I played Trials of Mana Remake when it released on steam I went with an all boys team. Finished the game and tried playing with the other 3 all girls party and got bored of replaying the whole game again. I picked the beastman dude as my main character. While it's great the game has replayability with new playthroughs, I would have preferred to be able to play all the characters in one playthrough. Each character has specific dialogue with another character, sadly I ain't got time to replay the game multiple times for that.

But even among those that can't, they make her better at her jobs, such as light-side making elemental-weapon buffs cast by her deal more damage than normal, letting her heal your party past their max HP limit, sometimes lowering an MP cost to 0 (good before post-game). Dark-side gets some nice ones as well, including a chance for power-attacks to cause ailments (sleep-chance is guaranteed on dark side, which is nice in itself, but Necromancer has a petrify-chance which is instant-death on anything not immune to it. Very nice considering Hawkeye is the only other character who can inflict instant-death-chance-on-power-attack with his passive.), Warlock / Evil Shaman has passives that give a chance to deal random debuffs on power-attacks, as well as passives to deflect debuffs back, and also some that debuff enemies just for being equipped, and those don't count towards the debuff limit, letting you weaken them even further.
