For everyone who actually bought Pragmata, how are you enjoying the GAMEPLAY itself? Personally I think it's fine but nothing outstanding. I knew it wouldn't have the Metroidvania like maps of something like Resident Evil, but once I got a little further in I thought it would have a ton of levels I can go between with different theming and new ideas like a modern take on Mega Man X, but it ended up being structured much more like a typical linear single player shooter I'm having fun and enjoying myself but I was expecting a little more creativity when the world and characters are so creative, and the hacking mechanic made me think there'd be a ton of new gameplay ideas throughout, but so far it seems a little constrictedI'm only a few hours in so maybe I'll get more impressed as the game eases me in

The demo was enough to sell me on the game. The mix of shooting and real-time puzzle solving is a nice blend and opening up enemy weak spots feels satisfying when you target them.It's a pretty good action game, not too many frills, just well-made.

I've watches gameplay and it looks pretty cool. My question to those who've actually played it is how does everything FEEL with character control and gunplay? How would you compare the movement and smoothness of the MC with other 3rd person shooter games? From what I've seen it looks pretty responsive and pretty quick, reminded me a little of Vanquish. But are guns pretty impactful? Does it feel good to shoot the different weapons or do they mostly feel similar? I've only seen the first 2 weapons and very few enemy types, but I'm very interested in playing this before getting too spoiled.

Copied from what I said in an old thread: The beginning was slow because you're only dealing with one or two enemies but by the 3rd area a lot of the big fights become you needing to dodge, hack, jump, shoot and switch weapons and it started to become a lot harder and a lot more fun. The micromanaging you need to do to be efficient with your kills like where to hit, or which node to hack while also dealing with 3 different types of robots at a time while trying not to die is just really fun when it all clicks. There's also a lot of upgrades you can add that can change the gameplay styles in a way, plus a bunch more weapons that do different things (like a crossbow that deleted a row in the hacking node, or the decoy gun that just shoots a decoy on the ground). Still haven't seen it all yet though so hard to say how deep the combat becomes but I do think it's currently reached its peak and only the difficulty will increase from here. The VR training stuff is also really fun and difficult to try and master, I've done all of them but 6 since it was actually the first big difficulty spike that I still can't do. I will say that in the big fights it does peter out by the last half due to you using all of your good weapons and hacks and you're just left with your crappy normal pistol/assault rifle which is painful to use (a recharging reload is awful) and your default hack which just does damage instead of special abilities. Also if you're not always on the ball hitting the weakpoints the fights can drag on for a long time, but it could just be me being crap.Here's some random gameplay of the first time I saw an invisible enemy.

I like it so far, the guns feel nice and the hacking is interesting in a good way. Also love the dynamic between Diana and Hugh. The setting feels simultaneously lonely and cozy. Haven't enjoyed a AAA game this much in a long time.With that being said, I'm having major issues with the audio cutting out & de-syncing in cutscenes and it kinda ruins the immersion. Anyone else having this issue or know a fix?

The ones I admired the most were the ones who chose to live that way. They didn't want to be a part of society, but they didn't cause problems or hurt other people. They just lived their own way. Nothing wrong with that. Then there's those who are otherwise "normal" people that ended up on the street through bad decisions, bad luck, or whatever. The help programs help these people and they get back on their feet before long. You never see anyone from these groups begging on the street.The rest are insane, addicts, or just parasites. No amount of free money or housing will "fix" these people. The problems lie elsewhere, both with them personally and with the structure of society as a whole, and these groups are the majority of homeless.
