I just played it for the first time in over a decade when I fucking loved it as a kid and it's so painfully mediocre I actually felt a little offended on a personal level. And I only played as Team Sonic.
this was my first 3d sonic game as a kid and the only thing i remember from it was the first three levels and always belting out the intro song

huge step down from SA2You would think they combined gem exploration mechanics and platforming but they somehow made both worse. It's just a pretty mediocre action game.

Normally I hate people who just say "git gud" because normally the games they say it for have other glaring issues aside from the difficulty, but it's absolutely applicable to Heroes. It's literally a perfect game, and I'm tired of pretending it's not. >T. Got all emblems and beat Super Hard Mode

>>737195809The character switching mechanic is honestly really cool and I like how it includes the characters set up in other games, but the level design is so fucking bad, and having to play the game 4 times over with very little changes is just exhausting. Bingo Highway is straight up broken as a level

>>737195809Its one of the buggier Sonic games but is so filled with s0vl that it gets a pass. I played the game religiously on the ps2 version which is the most prone to randomly throwing you to your death, which by the way is something that regularly happens in the sonic adventure games too, but I still loved it.
