I played 3FES, half of 4 Golden, and 5Royal. 5 Royal is easily the best game. I had it at a 9.5/10. I thought the combat was snappy and fun, loved the cast and the music, the Royal Post game was 10/10 content.

I played it recently. I honestly thought it sucked really bad. The music is fantastic of course but every other part of the game is a complete fumble and the combat especially is such a total farce of megaten style combat that it should be considered an insult. The palaces were a total fuck up and so much worse than P4G dungeons. The gameplay balance is really really bad. The characters have no chemistry, you couldn't name a single personality trait that Ann even has, seriously try it. Morgana is an inferior Teddie. I could go on
