games cost a lot of money to make. when you spend a lot of money to make something, you need it to sell. and when you want something you sell you want it to be accessible to many markets as possible. so you dont want your game censored or banned in any country. so this discourages game developers from people sex in their games because the laws of different regions of the world are just different. in fact this also discourages them from having a lot of gore tooof course you could have a wider discussion about why countries have these kinds of censorship and standards in the first place that discourage game developers. but i suspect that even with no censorship the economic factors would still result in a situation where most games didnt have a lot of sex or gore. a lot of people dont think its super fun to see in their games.
