It's a big suppressor. The gun actually exists, called the "Maxim 9".

the suppressor shroud will get hot after a while and depending on your grip that'll be uncomfortable

No retard who has ever shot any type of firearm would be holding onto the suppressor you fucking poser.
>>
>>737241212
>Except I could not shoot it for more than 100 rounds, as by around shot number 70 I could not properly grip the pistol. Everything forward of the trigger guard was far too hot to touch, so I was basically shooting the last 30 rounds of that first day one handed
https://www.eaglegunrangetx.com/shooting-review-the-silencerco-maxim-9/
pipe down lil bro, it's just an obvious and unfortunate consequence of the gas chamber being directly built into the frame
>>
>>737236961
Did suppressor affect anything in that game?
>>
>>737241452
>"no one but a retard would ever hold it like that

I bet you're proud of what you tried to pull off.
>>
>>737237869
It's shaped that way so that it can easily fit into a holster since normally there are challenges to holstering suppressed handguns

>P320
>9+1 default magazine size
>Extremely slow clunky rate of fire
>piss dick shit poor damage, straight outclassed by the silencer 9
wtf were they thinking with this gun? It handles more like a 1911 of some sort but then does jack shit for damage. It would be usable if they doubled the damage per shot and just changed the ammo to say .45 keeping everything else the same but it just sucks right now
>>
>>737241660
>there is only one single grip style in the world
ok there pre-war officer, do you also shoot with your off-hand behind your back?
>>
>>737241763
Way to go hyperbolic you impotent excuse for a human being. I'll be waiting for an actual argument.
>>
>>737241876
there is nothing to argue about though, the gun gets hot. or are simple facts also too much for you to handle?
>>
>>737242078
The argument here is no one should ever be holding any pistol forward of the trigger guard. Suppressor or not. The only people who do this are morons of the highest caliber and aren't even worth listening to their opinions about. The gun getting hot (as it should, like any firearm, after prolonged firing) is a normal operating condition and the only difference here is that the suppressor makes the actually hot bit bigger. To hold it in any fashion where anyone fingers or hands are getting close to it is purely fucking dumb, and the stipulation you proposed to it being to where "it'll be uncomfortable" is only for using the weapon incorrectly, having a shitty as fuck grip, or never having shot a gun in your life. The standard grip, in which all pistols should be used (barring crazy circumstances such as in the middle of combat, which 99% of the owners of this weapon will NOT partake in) is more than adequate to keep your fingers and hands safe during use. For you to even bring "uncomfortable" into the equation either implies improper grip, holding like a retard, or in the 1% of circumstances where active combat is being held and shit is going down, it will be "uncomfortable". The first two are just straight up moronic to even bring up, and the last one is moot because you'd be fighting for your life in that last scenario, who would give a shit about comfort?
>>
>>737241763
No, you shoot with your other hand gripped around the hand you're using to shoot. The only thing forward of the trigger guard to grip is the barrel. Only a fucking retard would try to grip ANY gun by the god damn barrel.
>>
>>737244805
Whoa, there is also the old cup hand method!!!
>>
>>737244972
Even so, nothing is forward of the trigger guard you dumbass
>>
>>737241684
>holster
Can't you just 3d print an external case for a normal suppressed pistol? Like a thing that you can stick on the front of normal Glock, which then fits in your holster?
>>
>>737245101
That will eventually melt?
>>
>>737245136
>melt
Ok maybe not 3D print, but surely an injection moulded adapter (with thermosetting plastic) for a regular suppressed pistol would suffice? I don't know why a niche demands a unique pistol.
>>
>>737245101
The suppressor for this pistol takes into account all of the gasses produced by the firing of sub-sonic rounds. All of the flame, soot, and gas loses any supersonic qualities and is slowed significantly within the chambers within the suppressor. Suppressors that you can thread onto a barrel attempt to do this, and many succeed, but are also able to be taken off just as quickly as one had put it on. Remember, the entire point of a suppressor is to fire discreetly, and leave the scene before detection. You aren't going to be getting into a prolonged firefight if you've done your job right, In fact, being able to take the suppressor off for compacting the pistol away on your person is as large a perk as having a suppressor itself, which is kind of a mark against this gargantuan pistol.

>>737245136
Again, stop being hyperbolic and thinking a suppressed weapon is going to be firing anywhere near to the point of getting too hot to handle. You get one shot, maybe two at the maximum, before you're either fucked and it doesn't matter if its too hot, or you get away clean and it doesn't matter.

The guns in this game looked so bad
>>
>>737236961
It might be a little front heavy, and I know some suppressed guns have issues with more of the gas coming out the ejection port and blasting shit in your face but I assume this one is designed to account for that since it's designed from the ground up for its suppressor instead of just being one slapped on to a regular design.

Seeing the rifle in the top right was pretty cool, that was the main workhorse on my PC playthrough, it was gangsta seeing the Uzi but it played like shit compared to the RE4RE SMG's.

And apart from the reload for the Shotgun and the chamber check button when you have a full gun was also pretty operator of Capcom, but that's all the cool things I have to say about the weaponry of RE9, the weaponry selection was the worst its ever been, and that's a big part of what killed my interest in replaying.
>>
>>737236961
2 decade has passed and Capcom still doesn't know how to balance assault rifle. Every RE AR were basically just high recoil SMG instead of a rifle.
>>
>>737245595
i dont think they did. not at all.
>>
>>737244972
Still not gripping the barrel, moron. It's pretty obvious the idiot who wrote the article was trying to use the bottom of the suppressor as a grip which just demonstrates he has no idea how guns even work. Barrels get hot, suppressor or not. That's not a defect with the gun, that's just how guns are in general.

Re9 and cyberpunk are recent games where i really like the guns and their animations/sounds.
I seriously dislike the cod/bf style animating of guns. Its impressively detailed but i just dont like the movements.
>>
>>737249524
yeah, leon actually tries to reload quickly and efficiently, he doesn't have overly animated reloads just to show off the guns like normal fps games
