I hope /v/ has been noticing lately but Nintendo is the only company that has been growing over the past decade. It seems like since the WiiU/3ds era 2013ish Nintendo has been acquiring studios, building new ones and expanding their legacy teams. Compare that to PlayStation and Xbox and it's the complete opposite, PlayStation and Xbox since the exact time period have been shutting down and laying off a shit ton of people and studios. In the past 3 years PlayStation has already shut down 6 studios and Nintendo has built and expanded around 5. Nintendo is growing at a rapid fast pace and the Japanese/ East Asia gaming industry is growing rapidly while the Western gaming industry is declining and burning. Guys I think it's safe to say that Nintendo might be on to something with the Switch 2 generation.
I think they might actually be the fastest growing Japanese company right now.
