Rellana is an okay boss but also disappointing. She could have been so much more interesting but most of her moveset is just annoyingly gay against more fun strategies, and extremely weak against the general effective strategies
Its kind of hard to enjoy major bosses in Elden Ring after having played Nightreign and fought its nightlords & everdarks. The downgrade is extreme and thats even before considering the fancy character skills being gone.

The timer in NR is so forgiving. You can farm to max level and everything you need pretty reliably, being clean is more important. If you are playing guardian, you know, the dedicated shield character, then you can build extremely strong guard counters: There are flat bonuses based on health, he has multihit guard counters and the highest HP pool.

Guardian is only the worst in DoN4-5 mode where the balance is complete dogshit

Jokes aside? I like elden ring but i genuinely do not like its damage balance.
Bosses die way too fast, to the point it doesnt feel very good to beat them, i didnt enjoy their moveset to the fullest. The speed at which they die is balanced, specially for something like Promised Consort Radahn, because of the estus heal system where you run out of HP, and how they can chunk a huge part of your healthbar in a single hit.

I believe this game would be so much better if bosses were tankier, and in exchange, the player had a healing system similar to Focus and Bind from Hollow Knight & Silksong. Where you technically have unlimited healing, however, healing isnt fast and easy, and actually takes time and effort to heal yourself to full. It would allow longer battles, make the act of being at low health way more engaging, and make taking damage way more fun. It would arguably make the game harder when you are well equipped against a boss, but would do so in a less frustrating way
