Instead of upscaling from 240p or whatever can't they just remove or downgrade shadows and shit like vegetation. it's what I did back in 2022 to make it run on my (then) toaster and it still looked good and I could run it at 1080p. The game just has too much detail going on in some areas and it really eats your VRAM/CPU
