If you have a gaming computer, what's stopping you from streaming it to your TVs or Steam Deck/Rog Ally handhelds? Not enough people know about these 2 programs, and they allow you to play your gaming computer on the go. All you need is an internet source.Video game culture is moving to a streaming format, but we should be allowed to stream games we actually own. These 2 programs allow us to do that.Have you streamed before, anon? What program would you reccomend?
>>737270032I love steamlink but hate that it only really works through physical connections. Yes, I have good throughput, the problem is any interference results in immediate lag for me and it's so intermittent that I can't figure out the actual issue. I've heard of moonlight before but never used it, what kind of speed do you need for this? I'm assuming it's streaming for outside a lan environment
>>737270504steam link works outside of LAN. you need extra setup in moonlight/sunlight to make it work outside LAN. i haven't done that setup personally so i couldn't tell you how it works
I do not accept latency in my pc games no.
>>737270032tried streaming a dark souls game to my steam deck since the DS games dont do cloud saves for whatever reason. despite having relatively good wifi, it came through super choppy and occasionally laggy. decided then that game streaming is a huge sham and the kind of people that try to push it are the same kind of people that are ok with eating out of a trough as long as its hyped up enough
You're a mongoloid tripfag, and basically everyone who has a steam deck and remotely acceptable wifi streams shit from their PC, especially if they use their deck docked.
